As Hollywood prepares for yet another Oscar nomination announcement, the not-so-great of films in 2016 have been acknowledged by the Golden Raspberry Awards.

Leading the unfortunate lineup for this year’s awards are Ben Stiller’s comedy sequel Zoolander 2 (nine nominations) and the underwhelming superhero blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (eight mentions) including the coveted Worst Picture category.

Stiller is also shortlisted for Worst Actor as well as Worst Director and Worst Screen Combo while co-stars Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig are also ridiculed for their roles in the other acting lists.

Despite being a box-office smash, Batman v Superman received multiple mentions including double Worst Actor nods for main stars Ben Affleck (as Bruce Wayne / Batman) and Henry Cavill (as Clark Kent / Superman). Co-star Jesse Eisenberg (as Lex Luthor) is also nominated in the Worst Supporting Actor category where he will be competing against Jared Leto’s portrayal of The Joker in the supervillain blockbuster Suicide Squad.

The raunchy comedy Dirty Grandpa also earned several mentions including a Worst Actor nomination for Hollywood legend Robert De Niro with female co-stars Julianne Hough and Aubrey Plaza shortlisted in Worst Supporting Actress.

The Worst Picture lineup is completed by the historical epic Gods of Egypt, the sci-fi blockbuster sequel Independence Day: Resurgence and the political drama Hilary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party. As if poor Hilary Clinton hasn’t been through enough lately!

Elsewhere several renowned actors are mentioned in the acting categories including Gerard Butler (Gods of Egypt and London Has Fallen), Megan Fox (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows), Julia Roberts (Mother’s Day), Naomi Watts (Divergent Series: Allegiant), Nicolas Cage (Snowden) and Johnny Depp (Alice Through the Looking Glass).

The losers of this year’s Razzie awards will be announced on February 25th, one day before the Oscar winners are revealed.
