Fake hit man Glen Powell falls for client Adria Arjona in Hit Man trailer

The official trailer for Hit Man has landed.

In-form Hollywood star Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick, Anyone But You) takes centre stage in the upcoming action rom-com which is based on the 2001 Texas Monthly magazine article of the same name by Skip Hollandsworth.

Directed by Richard Linklater (School of Rock, Boyhood), the plot centres on Gary Johnson (Powell), an undercover Houston police officer who poses as a reliable hitman to arrest those trying to hire him. However, he soon meets his match in the form of a sexy client trying to flee her abusive husband.

Adria Arjona (Morbius, Andor) co-leads the film as Maddy Masters while the rest of the cast includes Austin Amelio (The Walking Dead, Everybody Wants Some!!), Retta (Fracture, Arrested Development), Sanjay Rao (The Flight Attendant, Truth Be Told), Mike Markoff (Pursuit of Freedom, When Jack Came Back) and Evan Holtzman (Hidden Figures, Civil War).

Hit Man will be available to stream on Netflix from 7 June.
