Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby to lead Fantastic Four reboot

Happy Valentine’s Day, Marvel fans!

After months and months of speculation, it has been confirmed that a Fantastic Four reboot is finally on its way next year.

Furthermore, the much-hyped installment of the MCU has assembled a talented cast to tackle the iconic quartet of superheroes.

Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian, The Last of Us) and Oscar nominee Vanessa Kirby (The Crown, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning) headline the new-look team as Reeds Richards / Mr. Fantastic and Sue Storm / Invisible Woman respectively.

Meanwhile, the rest of the group is rounded off by Joseph Quinn (Dickensian, Stranger Things) as Johnny Storm / Human Torch and recent Emmy winner Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear, No Hard Feelings) as Ben Grimm / The Thing.

Matt Sharkman (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, WandaVision) will direct the upcoming comic-book flick off a script by Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer.

This will be the fourth F4-based film, following in the footsteps of Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), plus the critically-panned 2015 reboot Fantastic Four.

As of now, the plot is not yet known, though it has been speculated that the setting could be based in the 1960s.

In the meantime, the new-look Fantastic Four team will make their bow in cinemas on 25 July 2025.
