Dodgeball sequel confirmed with Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller returning

One of the cult comedy hits of the noughties is set to be followed up by a sequel as 20th Century Fox announced that 2004’s Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story will be the recipient of a new outing for its main characters.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that screenwriter Clay Tarver has been hired to pen the script for the new film which will see gym owner Peter La Fleur (Vince Vaughn) join forces with his dodgeball rival White Goodman (Ben Stiller) as the pair tackle a new threat.

Vaughan and Stiller are both back on board with the latter producing it though it not known whether other original actors like Christine Taylor, Justin Long or Rip Torn will return to reprise their roles.

More news on casting and a release date will be mentioned soon….
