Over a year ago, the US Military and the CIA joined forces to undergo a secret mission to hunt down and kill the terrorist Osama Bin Laden which led to huge relief and joy around the world.
While the dust has yet to settle on the aftermath of that event, Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow (Point Break, The Hurt Locker) has been making the film Zero Dark Thirty which surrounds the events of that mission. A second trailer was released for it last night.
A teaser for the war thriller was unveiled a couple of months back. However this new preview shows more footage of the build-up to the mission with Oscar-nominated actress Jessica Chastain (The Help, Lawless) leading the cast as the CIA operative who oversees the hunt to find the feared terrorist.
Joel Edgerton (Warrior, The Great Gatsby), Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights, Super 8), Mark Strong (Robin Hood, Kick-Ass) and James Gandolfini (The Sopranos, In the Loop) are the versatile supporting actors whose characters play key roles in the search for Bin Laden.
Screenwriter Mark Boal reunites with his Hurt Locker director to pen the script for the film which is due for release in the UK on January 25th 2013.
