Over the past decade or so, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has experienced an incredible career in football which has helped him become one of the greatest athletes of all time.
The Portuguese forward’s remarkable story is now being presented in a candid documentary from the makers of the BAFTA-winning Senna (2011) and this year’s Amy.
The film, simply entitled Ronaldo, has premiered its official trailer.
The documentary follows the former Manchester United player over the course of 14 months as we see him dealing with his responsibilities to both club and country as well as his private life.
Winner of three four league titles and two European Cups, Ronaldo has also won the Ballon d’Or three times (2008, 2013 and 2014) and scored over 400 goals in his illustrious career.
Coincidentally, a similar production is being made for the Portuguese player’s La Liga rival Lionel Messi which is reportedly out in 2016.
Ronaldo will be released in cinemas on November 9th.
