Screenwriter Andrew Scott discovers that his long-dead parents are alive in All Of Us Strangers trailer

An official trailer has been released for All Of Us Strangers.

Helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Andrew Haigh (Weekend, 45 Years), the romantic fantasy has already made a splash with critics and is due to make its bow at the upcoming BFI London Film Festival.

Loosely based on the 1987 novel Strangers by Taichi Yamada, the plot centres on a screenwriter who encounters his mysterious neighbour and returns to his childhood home to find that his long-dead parents are actually alive.

The film bolsters a starry quartet of award-worthy stars with Andrew Scott (Sherlock, Fleabag) taking on the lead role of screenwriter Adam alongside Paul Mescal (Normal People, Aftersun) as his neighbour Harry.

Additionally, Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot, Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool) and Claire Foy (The Crown, Women Talking) round off the cast as Adam’s seemingly-deceased parents.

All Of Us Strangers will be released in UK cinemas on Friday 26th January 2024.
