Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer to star in The Death of Robin Hood

After recently landing herself a key role in the upcoming zombie sequel 28 Years Later, Jodie Comer now has another film project lined up shortly after.

The BAFTA and Emmy-winning star of Killing Eve (2018-22), Free Guy (2021) and The Last Duel (2021) will star opposite Oscar nominee Hugh Jackman (Les Misérables, The Greatest Showman) in the historical drama The Death of Robin Hood.

Helmed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig, A Quiet Place: Day One), the film will be a darker reimagining of the classic Robin Hood tale. Set of its time, the story will see Robin (Jackman) grappling with his past after a life of crime and murder. As a battleworn and gravely injured loner, he soon finds himself in the hands of a mysterious woman (Jodie) who offers him a chance at salvation.

Production will begin on the film in February 2025.

In the meantime, Jodie can next be seen as Kathy in the upcoming biker drama The Bikeriders while Jackman will appear alongside Ryan Reynolds in the much-anticipated comic book sequel Deadpool & Wolverine.
