Nicole Kidman portrays Grace Kelly in official trailer for Grace of Monaco

Having had its release date delayed for several months, the long-delayed biopic Grace of Monaco is finally set to be unveiled to the viewing public.

With its world premiere due to take place at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, the Grace Kelly film has unveiled a new trailer online.

Directed by Olivier Dahan (La Vie En Rose), the real-life drama focuses on the post-Hollywood career of iconic actress Grace Kelly and her marriage to Prince Rainier of Monaco.

Fellow Oscar-winning star Nicole Kidman (Eyes Wide Shut, The Hours) tackles the role of Kelly with experienced casting support coming from Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction), Frank Langella (Frost/Nixon, Robot and Frank), Parker Posey (You’ve Got Mail, Superman Returns), Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes, Rocky Balboa) and Derek Jacobi (The King’s Speech, Vicious).

The film was originally scheduled for release in January but was pushed back due to a clash between Dahan and The Weinstein Company.

Instead, it will be screened to audiences in the UK on June 6th.
