Dune: Part Two release date pushed back to March 2024 amid ongoing strikes

For those of you that were looking forward to seeing Dune: Part Two later this year, there is bad news for you…

With the ongoing actors AND writers strikes causing chaos in Hollywood, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2021 sci-fi blockbuster has been delayed from November until 15 March 2024.

Warner Bros. made the decision to postpone the film’s release, knowing that its star-studded cast wouldn’t be able to promote it.

Among those starring in the Denis Villeneuve-directed follow-up include leading performers Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem, as well as newcomers Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Léa Seydoux and Oscar-winner Christopher Walken.

Additionally, the action-sequel Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire has seen its delay pushed from 15 March 2024 to 12 April 2024.

With the actors strike showing no signs of stopping, it would appear that other high-profile films could be delayed until next year, including The Bikeriders, Killers of the Flower Moon and Wonka. Here’s hoping that isn’t the case!
