A new trailer has premiered for The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
The upcoming Marvel blockbuster marks a welcoming return to the MCU for the iconic quartet, ten years after their failed appearance in the critically-maligned 2015 outing Fantastic Four.
Directed by Matt Sharkman (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, WandaVision), the plot sees the Fantastic Four fight to protect their 1960s-inspired retro-futuristic world from being devoured by the cosmic being Galactus.
On the casting front, Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian, The Last of Us) and Oscar nominee Vanessa Kirby (The Crown, Napoleon) lead the new-look team as Reed Richards / Mr. Fantastic and Sue Storm / Invisible Woman respectively with Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things, Gladiator II) and Emmy winner Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Punisher, The Bear) rounding off the rest of the group as Johnny Storm / Human Torch and Ben Grimm / The Thing.
Additionally, Ralph Ineson (The Office, The Witch) and three-time Emmy winner Julia Garner (Ozark, Wolf Man) take on the key roles of Galactus and his enigmatic herald, the Silver Surfer while the rest of the stellar ensemble includes Paul Walter Hauser (Cruella, Black Bird), John Malkovich (In the Line of Fire, Con-Air), Natasha Lyonne (Poker Face, Three Daughters) and Sarah Niles (Rocks, Ted Lasso).
The Fantastic Four: First Steps will arrive in UK cinemas on 25 July.
