Florence Pugh teams up with a band of misfits in new trailer for Marvel’s Thunderbolts*

A new trailer has premiered for Thunderbolts*.

The latest offering from the Marvel Cinematic Universe sees a number of anti-heroes from previous Marvel outings come together for one of 2025’s biggest films.

Helmed by Emmy-winning director Jake Schreier (Kidding, Beef), the plot sees highly-trained assassin Yelena Belova join forces with a group of anti-heroes as they embark on a dangerous mission that forces them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts.

After making her Marvel debut in Black Woman (2021), Florence Pugh reprises her role as Yelena alongside fellow returnees Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr / Ghost, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian, Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykovm / Taskmaster, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine.

Additionally, the film also features first Marvel appearances from Lewis Pullman (Top Gun: Maverick, Lessons in Chemistry) as Bob / Sentry and Geraldine Viswanathan (Blockers, Cat People) as Mel.

Thunderbolts* will arrive in UK cinemas on 1 May.
