Jodie Comer leads cast of Kenneth Branagh psychological thriller The Last Disturbance of Madeline Hynde

The work keeps on coming for Jodie Comer after landing another leading role in the upcoming psychological thriller The Last Disturbance of Madeline Hynde.

The multi-award-winning Liverpudlian star of Killing Eve, The End We Start From and The Bikeriders is set to collaborate with Oscar-winning writer and director Kenneth Branagh (Belfast, A Haunting in Venice) on the independent project.

Furthermore, Jodie will be joined by an impressive ensemble cast that includes Oscar winner Patricia Arquette (Boyhood, The Act), Michael Sheen (The Queen, The Damned United), Tom Bateman (Murder on the Orient Express, Behind her Eyes), Vicky McClure (This is England series, Line of Duty), Michael Balogun (Top Boy, Sherwood), Kristina Tonteri-Young (A Gift from Bob, Warrior Nun), Karla Crome (Carnival Row, Am I Being Unreasonable?), Aiysha Hart (Mogul Mowgli, We Are Lady Parts) and Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones, The Tower).

The film is described as a contemporary psychological thriller though no plot details are currently known.

Filming has officially begun on the project with a release date likely to be next year.
