An explosive trailer for Expend4bles has arrived.

The fourth installment of the bombastic action-franchise welcomes Sylvester Stallone back as mercenary leader Barney Ross in what is likely to be his final appearance in the series.

Directed by Scott Waugh (Act of Valour, Need for Speed), the plot sees the Expendables team square up against an arms dealer who commands the might of a massive army.

Stallone is joined by other returning cast members including Jason Statham as Lee Christmas, Dolph Lundgren as Gunner Jensen, and Randy Couture as Toll Road.

Among the newcomers to the series including Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (Get Rich or Die Tryin’, Power), Megan Fox (Transformers series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Tony Jaa (Ong-Bak series, Monster Hunter), Iko Uwais (The Raid, Fistful of Vengeance), Jacob Scipio (Bad Boys for Life, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent), Levy Tran (The Haunting of Hill House, MacGyver) and Andy Garcia (The Untouchables, Ocean’s Eleven).

Expend4bles will blast its way into cinemas on 22 September.
