New mother Jodie Comer fights to survive a post-flooded London in new trailer for The End We Start From

The latest trailer has arrived for The End We Start From.

Based on the acclaimed novel by Megan Hunter, the apocalyptic drama sees multi-award winning star Jodie Comer (Killing Eve, Help, The Last Duel) take centre stage in yet another challenging on-screen role.

Directed by BAFTA-winning filmmaker Mahalia Belo (Requiem, The Long Song) and adapted to the big-screen by Alice Birch (Lady Macbeth, Normal People), the story follows a new mother (Jodie) and her infant son as they try to find their way home after an environmental crisis submerges London in heavy flooding.

Jodie is joined in the film by a stellar support cast that features Joel Fry (Trollied, Cruella), Mark Strong (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Temple), Nina Sosanya (Last Tango in Halifax, Screw), Gina McKee (Our Friends in the North, In the Loop), Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice, Fantastic Beasts series), Alexandria Riley (In My Skin, The Pembrokeshire Murders), Ansu Kabia (Last Christmas, Miss Scarlet and the Duke), and Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, The Imitation Game).

The End We Start From will land in UK cinemas on 19 January.
