Kingsley Ben-Adir portrays reggae icon Bob Marley in new trailer for Bob Marley: One Love

A new trailer has arrived for Bob Marley: One Love.

The upcoming music-based biopic sees BAFTA nominee Kingsley Ben-Adir (One Night in Miami…, Secret Invasion) tackle the iconic role of legendary reggae musician Bob Marley in one of 2024’s most anticipated flicks.

Directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green (Top Boy, King Richard), the film charts the life of Marley from his rise to fame with hit songs like ‘One Love’, ‘Could You Be Loved’ and ‘Three Little Birds’, to his tragic death in 1981.

BAFTA-winner Lashana Lynch (No Time to Die, The Woman King) co-stars as Marley’s wife Rita alongside James Norton (Happy Valley, Little Women), Micheal Ward (Top Boy, Empire of Light), Anthony Welsh (Brassic, The Gallows Pole), Tosin Cole (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Doctor Who), Michael Gandolfini (The Deuce, The Many Saints of Newark), Umi Meyers (Silent Witness), Sundra Oakley (Legends, The Resident) and Nadine Marshall (Save Me, Champion).

The film will look to follow in the footsteps of other successful music-based biopics of recent years, including Walk the Line (2005), Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) and Elvis (2022).

Lively yourself up Marley fans, One Love will arrive in UK cinemas on Valentine’s Day 2024.
