Bradley Cooper transforms into legendary composer Leonard Bernstein in new trailer for Maestro

A marvellous new trailer has landed for Maestro.

Five years after making his directional debut with A Star is Born (2018), Bradley Cooper is back behind the camera for the upcoming biopic drama.

Furthermore, the Oscar-nominated star of Silver Linings Playbook (2012) and American Sniper (2014) also tackles the lucrative role of acclaimed conductor and composer Leonard Bernstein.

Backed by Netflix, the film chronicles Bernstein’s successful career as well as his tumultuous 25-year marriage to actress Felicia Montealegre.

Oscar-nominated actress Carey Mulligan (An Education, Promising Young Woman) co-stars as Montealegre alongside Matt Bomer (The Normal Heart, American Horror Story), Maya Hawke (Stranger Things, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood), Sarah Silverman (Take This Waltz, Battle of the Sexes), Michael Urie (Ugly Betty, Shrinking), Gideon Glick (Devious Maids, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Sam Nivola (The Pursuit of Love), Miriam Shor (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Americans) and Alexa Swinton (Emergence, And Just Like That).

Maestro is available to stream on Netflix from 20 December.
