Ant-Man faces new danger in the Quantum Realm in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer

An official trailer has been released for the latest Ant-Man installment.

Entitled Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the upcoming superhero sequel marks the beginning of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The two-and-a-half minute preview offers a glimpse of what to expect whilst backed by Elton John’s successful ballad ”Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”.

Directed again by Peyton Reed, the plot sees Scott Lang, Hope van Dyne and their expanded family find themselves transported into the Quantum Realm. While interacting with strange creatures, they soon embark on an adventure that goes beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.

Once again, original stars Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly reprise their popular roles as Scott / Ant-Man and Hope Van Dyne / Wasp alongside Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym.

After making his MCU debut in the final episode of Loki (2021), Jonathan Majors returns as the sinister Kang the Conqueror alongside the legendary Bill Murray (Ghostbusters, Lost in Translation)  in the role of Krylar.

Additionally, the role of Scott’s devoted daughter Cassie is now played by Kathryn Newton (Big Little Lies, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) who succeeds previous actresses Abby Ryder Fortson and Emma Fuhrmann.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will land in UK cinemas on 17 February 2023.
