An ape-dominated world brings further conflict in new trailer for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

A frenetic new trailer has landed for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

The long-awaited fourth chapter of the rebooted Planet of the Apes franchise heralds a new beginning for the rebellious primates after the conclusion of Caesar’s story in the 2017 installment War for the Planet of the Apes.

Directed by Wes Ball (The Maze Runner trilogy), the plot centres on a young chimpanzee living in an ape-dominated world who embarks on a journey that will lead him to question everything he’s been taught about the past and make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.

With Andy Serkis (Caesar) no longer involved in the series, the latest outing features a new-look cast that includes Owen Teague (Bloodline, It), Freya Allan (The Witcher, The Third Day), Kevin Durand (Robin Hood, The Strain), Peter Macon (Shameless, The Orville), Eka Darville (Jessica Jones, Her Smell), Dichen Lachman (Neighbours, Severance), and William H. Macy (Fargo, Shameless).

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes will arrive in UK cinemas on 10 May 2024.
