A new full-length trailer has arrived for Ferrari.

The fact-based sports drama marks a welcoming return to cinema for renowned filmmaker Michael Mann who is best known for his direction of The Last of the Mohicans (1992), Heat (1995), and Collateral (2004).

The film explores the life of automotive mogul Enzo Ferrari, whose family redefined the idea of the high-powered Italian sports car and practically spawned the concept of Formula One racing.

Two-time Oscar nominee Adam Driver (Marriage Story, House of Gucci) portrays Ferrari alongside Oscar winner Penélope Cruz (Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Parallel Mothers), Shailene Woodley (The Fault in Our Stars, Big Little Lies), Sarah Gadon (Enemy, A Royal Night Out), Jack O’Connell (Unbroken, SAS Rogue Heroes), and Patrick Dempsey (Grey’s Anatomy, Enchanted).

Ferrari will race into UK cinemas on Boxing Day.
