A spectacular new trailer has landed for Dune: Part Three.
Based on the celebrated novel series by Frank Herbert, the upcoming ‘threequel’ is set to bring the successful sci-fi franchise to an epic conclusion with Denis Villeneuve once again back behind the camera.
Set two decades after the events of Dune: Part II (2024), the plot sees ruthless emperor Paul Atreides face the consequences of his reign as old allies return, terrifying new threats emerge, and betrayal lurks in every shadow.
After the despair of another Oscar defeat earlier this year, Timothée Chalamet reprises his memorable role as Paul for a final time, and is joined by fellow returnees Zendaya as Chani, Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Charlotte Rampling as Reverend Mother Mohiam, Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides and Javier Bardem as Stilgar.
Additionally, Robert Pattinson (Twilight series, The Batman) leads the film’s new cast members as the cunning Scytale alongside Isaach De Bankolé (Casino Royale, The Brutalist) as Farok, Ida Brooke (Silo, The Primrose Railway Children) as Ghanima Atreides and newcomer Nakoa-Wolf Momoa as Leo II Atreides.
Billed as one of the biggest films of the year, Dune: Part Three will arrive in UK cinemas on 18 December.
