The upcoming erotic thriller has already made an impact with critics upon its premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival.

Written and directed by Halina Reijn (Instinct, Bodies Bodies Bodies), the story explores the complexities of power dynamics and sexuality within a professional setting as a high-ranking CEO embarks on a forbidden romance with a captivating and much-younger intern.

Having already won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress, Oscar winner Nicole Kidman (The Hours, Being the Ricardos) leads the film’s cast alongside Harris Dickinson (Triangle of Sadness, Scrapper), Sophie Wilde (Talk to Me, Tom Jones) and Antonio Banderas (The Skin I Live In, Pain and Glory).

Babygirl is scheduled for release in the UK on 10 January 2025.
