With the greatness of film being recognised this week amidst the BAFTA and Oscar nominations, the same cannot be said for the films recognised by this completely opposite awards group….

The Golden Raspberry Awards (or Razzies) have continued their hatred of the Twilight Saga by nominating its climatic instalment Breaking Dawn: Part II for eleven awards. Actors Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene were all nominated in the ‘worst acting’ categories for their performances.

Family comedy That’s My Boy received eight nods including Worst Film and yet another Worst Actor nom for Adam Sandler following his humiliation with Jack and Jill last year.

Action-flop Battleship, children’s comedy Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure and fantasy comedy A Thousand Words completed the Worst Film line-up.

The acting categorises include other various Hollywood names such as Nicolas Cage (Ghost Rider 2, Seeking Justice), Eddie Murphy (A Thousand Words), Katherine Heigl (One For The Money), Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil 5: Retribution), David Hasselhoff (Piranha 3DD), Liam Neeson (Battleship, Wrath of the Titans), Vanilla Ice (That’s My Boy), Rhianna (Battleship) and Jennifer Lopez (What to Expect When You’re Expecting).
