It’s the news us bus wankers have been waiting for….
Two years after jetting off for booze and clunge in their last cinematic outing, the Inbetweeners are set for another adventure after creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley officially confirmed The Inbetweeners Movie 2 earlier today after months of speculation.
The pair issued a joint statement talking about the film as well as announcing its release date which is scheduled for August 2014.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be making another Inbetweeners movie with Simon, Joe, James and Blake. Frankly it’s pathetic how much we’ve all missed each other. A new chapter in the lives of the Inbetweeners feels like the very least we can do to thank the fans for their phenomenal response to the first movie.”
The film is set to begin production later this year with the main quartet of Simon Bird (Will McKenzie), Joe Thomas (Simon), James Buckley (Jay Cartwright) and Blake Harrison (Neil Sutherland) all set to reunite for another big-screen outing.
However there is still no news about what the film’s plot will be with some predicting another holiday for the lads.
Once again, Film4 and Channel 4 will be producing and backing up the film financially.
Time to get the wellies out again benders!
