The heroes of Wakanda seek to fulfill King T’Challa’s legacy in new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

After airing its emotional teaser back in July, a new full-length trailer has been released for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Directed again by Ryan Coogler, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2018 blockbuster is set to be the last piece of the jigsaw for Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, this outing is set to be a poignant one for fans following the tragic loss of original star Chadwick Boseman in 2020.

The sequel’s plot sees the other heroes of Wakanda band together as they battle to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

Letitia Wright will lead this outing as T’Challa’s sister Shuri alongside other Black Panther stars including Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Florence Kasamba as Ayo, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross and Angela Bassett as Queen Ramonda.

Additionally, the follow-up welcomes more newcomers to the Marvel Cinematic Universe including BAFTA winner Michaela Coel (Chewing Gum, I May Destroy You) as Aneka, Dominique Thorne (If Beale Street Could Talk, Judas and the Black Messiah) as Riri Williams and Tenoch Huerta (Narcos: Mexico, The Forever Purge) as the villainous Namor.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released in cinemas worldwide on 11 November.
