Ooga chaka, ooga chaka, ooga ooga ooga chaka….

Fans of Marvel’s entertaining sci-fi blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy are about to be ‘hooked on a feeling’ again when its sequel Vol. 2 hits cinemas later this year.

With a potential Avengers collaboration on the cards, the adventures of Star Lord, Gamora, Drax, Groot and Rocket Racoon continue in the upcoming film which has finally premiered its official trailer online.

Directed again by James Gunn, the plot sees the Guardians reunite for a new mission for which Peter Quill will finally discover the truth about his mysterious father.

Chris Pratt (Quill / Star Lord), Zoe Saldaña (Gamora) and Dave Bautista (Drax) reprise their popular roles with Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel contributing their voices to Rocket Racoon and (mini) Groot respectively.

There are also returns to the sequel for Karen Gillan as Nebula, Michael Rooker as Yondu and Glenn Close as Nova Prime.

However the film has been bolstered by some strong cast additions including Kurt Russell (The Thing, The Hateful Eight) as Quill’s father plus Sylvester Stallone (Rocky series, Rambo series), Elizabeth Debicki (The Man from U.N.C.L.E, The Night Manager), Nathan Fillon (Firefly, Castle), Chris Sullivan (The Knick, Stranger Things), Pom Klementieff (Oldboy, Hacker’s Game) and Tommy Flanagan (Braveheart, Sons of Anarchy).

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 will be released in the UK on April 28th 2017.
