One of our favorite action heroines has been working hard in this industry and she’s about to get busier after Michelle Rodriguez confirmed that she would be reprising her roles in the sequels to Machete and Fast & Furious.

Rodriguez firstly revealed that she had agreed to return to Machete 2 which already has original stars Danny Trejo and Jessica Alba involved with the controversial Oscar-winning actor/director Mel Gibson signing onto the project.

She then added that she would also be returning to the Fast & Furious series with a sixth film currently heading for production. Her character Letty Ortiz was supposedly killed in the fourth film but was later shown to me alive in the credits of Fast Five. Her co-stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Paul Walker are involved too.

Ironically though, Rodriguez is also making her comeback in the Resident Evil series despite her character’s death in the first film. However she is appearing in the newest installment Resident Evil: Retribution although there is nothing specific yet about how the character returns.

This gal sure does love sequels!
