Jeremy Allen White sings as rock legend Bruce Springsteen in Deliver Me from Nowhere trailer

An impactful trailer has landed for Deliver Me from Nowhere.

The upcoming music-based biopic charts a key period in the life of American rock star Bruce Springsteen, and comes off the back of similar films of its genre including Bohemian Rhapsody (2018), Elvis (2022) and last year’s A Complete Unknown.

Directed by Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart, Black Mass) and based on the Warren Zanes novel Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska, the story follows Springsteen’s commitment to the Nebraska album as he looked to move away from his previous works.

Two-time Emmy winner Jeremy Allen White (The Bear, The Iron Claw) steps into the daunting shoes of the ‘Boss’ and is joined by fellow television heavyweights Jeremy Strong (Succession, The Apprentice) as his manager and record producer Jon Landau, and the prolific Stephen Graham (This is England series, Adolescence) as his father Douglas.

Additionally, the rest of the film’s cast includes Gaby Hoffmann (Transparent, Eric), Paul Walter Hauser (Richard Jewell, Black Bird), Odessa Young (The Stand, Mothering Sunday), David Krumholtz (The Deuce, Oppenheimer), Johnny Cannizzaro (Jersey Boys, Matlock) and Marc Maron (GLOW, Joker).

British fans of the Boss will be ‘dancing in the dark’ when Deliver Me from Nowhere reaches cinemas on 24 October.
