After forging a memorable bond as Thor and Valkyrie in the hit Marvel blockbuster Thor: Ragnorak, Chris Hemworth and Tessa Thompson are once again working as a team for their next big-screen outing.
The pair are representing a new generation of Men in Black agents for the upcoming reboot Men in Black: International which is the fourth film of the hit sci-fi series.
Penned for release next year, the film’s official trailer can be seen below:
Directed by F. Gary Gary (The Negotiator, Straight Outta Compton), the plot sees Thompson (Westworld, Creed 2) play Agent M as she is recruited by the super-secret organisation to help hunt down aliens. She is then partnered up with Agent H (Hemsworth) as the pair try to prevent an alien invasion from taking place.
Acting support comes from the likes of Liam Neeson (Batman Begins, Taken trilogy), Rebecca Ferguson (The Greatest Showman, Mission: Impossible – Fallout) and Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley, The Big Sick) while Emma Thompson reprises her role as Agent O following her previous appearance in Men in Black 3 (2012).
However there is no involvement at all for original Men in Black stars Will Smith (Agent J) or Tommy Lee Jones (Agent K) who played their roles for three films between 1997 and 2012.
Men in Black: International will be released in the UK on 14th June 2019.
