As the phenomenal series Breaking Bad reaches its dramatic conclusion in the last couple of weeks, studios AMC and Sony Pictures have finally announced a spin-off prequel for one of the show’s main characters.

Better Call Saul will focus on Saul Goodman, the slimy lawyer of leading antagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston).

Bob Odenkirk is likely to reprise the role with the one-hour spinoff showing Saul’s evolution as a corrupted lawyer.

However, it is not known how far back the story will be before his eventual involvement with Walt.

The show is likely to begin filming once Breaking Bad reaches it’s epic conclusion.
