The end of the world is here for some unfortunate souls of the upcoming This Is the End as a variety of Hollywood stars and comedians team up in the apocalyptic-comedy which has just unveiled its red-band trailer.

Fans of the 2008 comedy Pineapple Express can look forward to a reunion between four actors from that film as Seth Rogen (Knocked Up, Paul), James Franco (127 Hours, Oz: The Great and Powerful), Danny McBride (Land of the Lost, Your Highness) and Craig Robinson (The Office US) play themselves as their house party is rudely interrupted by a catastrophe of events in Los Angeles.

Jonah Hill (Superbad, Moneyball) and Jay Baruchel (Tropic Thunder, How to Train Your Dragon) are also part of the group who have to lock themselves in Franco’s house in order to survive.

Other hilarious celebrity cameos in the film include pop star Rhianna, Michael Cera (Superbad, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) and Harry Potter actress Emma Watson.

Rogen is joint producer of the film which is due for release in the UK on June 28th.
