An intriguing new trailer has premiered for Disclosure Day.

The upcoming sci-fi thriller is the latest high-profile project to come from the visionary mind of legendary director Steven Spielberg, who is no stranger to the world of aliens and UFOs after tackling those themes in the likes of Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), E.T. The Extra Terrestrial (1982) and A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001).

The plot centres on a whistleblower who teams up with a meteorologist as they set out to prove the existence of beings not from this world with complicated results.

Emily Blunt (A Quiet Place, Oppenheimer) and Josh O’Connor (The Crown, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery) lead the film’s impressive cast and are joined by Oscar winner Colin Firth (A Single Man, The King’s Speech), Eve Hewson (Bad Sisters, Flora and Son), Wyatt Russell (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Thunderbolts*), Elizabeth Marvel (Homeland, Gifted), Henry Lloyd-Hughes (The Inbetweeners, The Thursday Murder Club) and Colman Domingo (Rustin, Sing Sing).

Disclosure Day will arrive in UK cinemas on 12 June.
