Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc tackles his most dangerous case yet in new trailer for Wake Up Dead Man

A witty full-length trailer has premiered for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.

The upcoming murder-mystery comedy from writer and director Rian Johnson is the third instalment of the renowned Knives Out film series, and sees Daniel Craig reprise his memorable role as brilliant Kentucky detective Benoit Blanc.

The film’s plot sees Blanc take on a new case that brings him into the orbit of a charismatic priest and his devout congregation. When a mysterious death occurs, Blanc must navigate a complex web of secrets and simmering tensions within the community to uncover the truth.

As with the previous films, this latest outing welcomes a new-look supporting cast that includes Josh O’Connor (The Crown, Challengers), Glenn Close (Fatal Attraction, Dangerous Liaisons), Josh Brolin (No Country for Old Men Milk), Mila Kunis (Black Swan, Friends with Benefits), Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker, Mayor of Kingstown), Kerry Washington (Scandal, The Six Triple Eight), Andrew Scott (All of Us Strangers, Ripley), Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla, Civil War), Daryl McCormack (Bad Sisters, Good Luck to You, Leo Grande) and Thomas Haden Church (Wings, Sideways).

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery will arrive in UK cinemas on 28 November, before becoming available to stream on Netflix from 12 December.
