Stephen Fry to host BAFTA Film Awards again in 2014

As one of Britain’s most popular individuals, Stephen Fry has been splendid when it comes to his BAFTA hosting duties.

Having taken on the role of BAFTA presenter eight times, the veteran comedian has revealed that he will be hosting the ceremony for a ninth time in 2014.

“I am really thrilled and honored to have been asked to host the EE British Academy Film Awards again. Despite the nerves and terror that something might go wrong and that I’ll make a fool of myself, it’s an annual event I really look forward to.”

He also went on to state his love of films.

“Film is one of the arts that most spreads the essence of our identity around the world, and our admiration and appreciation of global filmmaking ensures that the EE British Academy Film Awards sit comfortably on the world stage of film awards events honoring the best of the best.”

No surprise there then. Given the lack of people with the capable skills of doing better than him, Fry is essentially the best of British!

The EE British Academy Awards will take place on February 16th next year.

Will I be there? You’ll have to wait and see!
