An official trailer has arrived for Secret Invasion.

The latest television spinoff from the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to follow up Phase Five of the major franchise, following the recent releases of blockbuster sequels Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Created by Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot, Berlin Station), the plot follows former S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury and his Skrull companion Talos as they uncover a conspiracy by a group of shapeshifting Skrulls to conquer Earth.

Once again, Samuel L. Jackson reprises his hit role as Fury and is joined by other MCU returnees including Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Don Cheadle as James “Rhodesy” Rhodes/War Machine and Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross.

The series also introduces some new high-profile names to the MCU including Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones, Last Christmas), Kingsley Ben-Adir (Peaky Blinders, One Night in Miami…), Samuel Adewunmi (Angela Black, You Don’t Know Me), Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding, August: Osage County), Christopher McDonald (Happy Gilmore, Hacks) and Oscar-winner Olivia Colman (The Favourite, The Crown).

Secret Invasion will premiere the first of its six episodes on Disney+ from 21 June.
