Ryan Reynolds voices a speedy snail in new trailer for Turbo

Having contributed his voice to the current Dreamworks animated flick The Croods, Ryan Reynolds is back doing vocal work for the studio’s next cartoon feature Turbo, which has just revealed its newest trailer.

The film sees Reynolds (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Buried) voice a snail named Turbo who dreams of becoming the world’s greatest racer. However, after being outcast by his community, he manages to gain proper speed from an accident before using it to compete in the Indianapolis 500 race.

Reynolds is joined in the voice cast department by the likes of Paul Giamatti (Sideways, Cinderella Man), Bill Hader (Pineapple Express, Paul), Michelle Rodriguez (Fast and the Furious, Avatar), rapper Snoop Dogg (Starsky & Hutch) and Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction, The Avengers).

The film will be released in the UK on October 18th, three months after its US release.
