An erratic trailer has premiered for Focker-In-Law.

The upcoming comedy sequel is the fourth chapter in the hit Focker series, and welcomes a host of familiar faces as well as a ‘popular’ newcomer.

Written and directed by John Hamburg (Along Came Polly, I Love You, Man), the plot sees overprotective retired CIA agent Jack Byrnes and his bumbling son-in-law Greg Focker join forces when Greg’s son decides to marry a strong-willed woman who appears to be his complete opposite.

Once again, Fockers veterans Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller reprise their popular roles as Jack and Greg alongside fellow returnees Owen Wilson as Kevin Rawley, Teri Polo as Pam Byrnes Focker, and Blythe Danner as Dina Byrnes.

Fresh from her memorable work as Glinda in the Wicked series (2024-25), pop star-turned-Oscar nominated actress Ariana Grande (Don’t Look Up, Wicked) is the high-profile star of the new cast additions as Olivia Jones, while Skyler Gisondo (Licorice Pizza, Superman) and Beanie Feldstein (Lady Bird, Booksmart) step into the shoes of siblings Henry and Samantha Focker.

The original Meet the Parents film was a juggernaut hit with audiences when it was released in 2000, and was then followed by a successful sequel in Meet the Fockers (2004). However, the more recent instalment Little Fockers (2010) was a critical disappointment that will hopefully be rectified with this new outing.

Fans will get a chance to be welcomed back into the circle of trust when Focker-In-Law arrives in UK cinemas on 25 November.
