Two of Hollywood’s hidden acting talents of the past couple of years are about to star together in one of the last remaining award contenders of 2014/15.
Julliard School graduates Oscar Isaac (Robin Hood, Inside Llewyn Davies) and the effortless Jessica Chastain (The Help, Zero Dark Thirty) are both looking to continue their newfound successes with their roles in the upcoming crime drama A Most Violent Year which has premiered its full length trailer.
Directed by Oscar nominee J.C Chandor (Margin Call, All is Lost), the film sees Isaac and Chastain play a married couple who own a crooked oil business in New York City 1981. However their wealth is threatened by the criminal underworld who plot to try and destroy everything they have built.
David Oyelowo (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Butler), Alessandro Nivola (Goal, American Hustle) and Albert Brooks (Taxi Driver, Drive) also star in the A24-back feature which is due out in cinemas in January 2015.
The films just keep on coming for lovely Jessica who can next be seen in Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi epic Interstellar which premieres in the UK later this week!
