Last night saw the film world rocked by the tragic death of composer James Horner who was killed in a plane crash.
Loved by many for his musical work over the past four decades, Horner produced some of the best scores and was only bettered by the all-time great John Williams and Hans Zimmer.
However below is my Top 10 scores for the late composer. There were plenty of contenders to make the list but the Cinematique’s personal choices are….
10# – An American Tail (1985)
9# – Aliens (1986)
8# – Apollo 13 (1995)
7# – The Land Before Time (1988)
6# – Jumanji (1995)
5# – Avatar (2009)
4# – Field of Dreams (1989)
3# – Braveheart (1995)
2# – The Mask of Zorro (1998)
