Colin Farrell gets entangled with criminal underworld in Seven Psychopaths trailer

Those who watched Colin Farrell’s deserved Golden Globe win for his comical role from In Bruges will know only too well that it was down to his collaboration with director Martin McDonagh which lead to the film’s success.

Now four years on, the pair have teamed up for another black-comedy in the shape of Seven Psychopaths which has just released its first trailer today.

Farrell plays a struggling screenwriter who becomes wrapped up in Los Angeles’s criminal underworld after his less law-abiding friends kidnap a gangster’s beloved dog.

Sam Rockwell (Moon, Conviction) and Oscar-winner Christopher Walken (The Deer Hunter, Sleepy Hollow) play Farrell’s friends with Woody Harrelson (Cheers, The Hunger Games) playing the psychotic gangster who misses his dog.

Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace, Max Payne), Abbie Cornish (Candy, Bright Star), Gabourey Sidibe (Precious) and singer/actor Tom Waits round off the impressive ensemble cast.

The film will be released in the UK on December 7th.
