Christian Bale and Margot Robbie find themselves caught up in a murder mystery in Amsterdam trailer

An eye-catching trailer for Amsterdam has been released.

Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker David O. Russell (Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle), the star-studded murder mystery centres on three friends – a doctor, a nurse, and an attorney – who witness a murder, become suspects themselves, and uncover one of the most outrageous plots in American history.

Oscar-winner Christian Bale (The Dark Knight trilogy, The Fighter), Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street, I, Tonya) and John David Washington (Blackkklansman, Tenet) portray the central trio caught up in the conspiracy.

Additionally, the film features a stunning support cast that includes Chris Rock (Top Five, Fargo), Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen’s Gambit, Last Night in Soho), Zoe Saldaña (Avatar, Guardians of the Galaxy series), Mike Myers (Wayne’s World, Austin Powers trilogy), Michael Shannon (Revolutionary Road, The Shape of Water), Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood, Justified), Andrea Riseborough (Brighton Rock, Mandy), Taylor Swift (The Giver, Cats), Matthias Schoenaerts (Rust and Bone, Red Sparrow), Alessandro Nivola (American Hustle, The Many Saints of Newark), and Oscar-winners Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody, No Time to Die) and Robert De Niro (Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas). That good enough for you all?

Cited as a potential Oscar contender, Amsterdam is scheduled for release in the UK on 4 November.
