Chloe Moretz creates panic as Carrie White in new trailer for Carrie remake

After we were given a glimpse of Chloe Moretz standing blood-soaked in the teaser trailer of Carrie back in October, a much-longer preview of the upcoming horror remake has been unveiled with new footage.

The latest trailer shows Moretz’s character Carrie White being tormented by both bullies and her religious-obsessed mother Margaret (Oscar-nominee Julianne Moore) only to then use her telekinetic powers to exact revenge.

Moretz (Kick-Ass, Hugo) has taken on the role originally played by Sissy Spacek in Brian De Palma’s 1976 classic and is a new big-screen adaptation of the best-selling novel from Stephen King.

Gabriella Wilde (St Trinians 2) and Judy Greer (The Descendents) also star in the spooky-looking horror which is directed by Kimberley Peirce (Boys Don’t Cry).

Originally due for release around now, the film has had its date pushed back several months and will be officially out in UK cinemas on November 29th.
