A wacky trailer for Nightbitch has been released.

Based on the 2021 novel by Rachel Yoder, the upcoming horror comedy sees multi-Oscar nominated actress Amy Adams (Enchanted, American Hustle) tackle the most bizarre role of her career in a film that is sure to divide critics and audiences.

Written and directed by Marielle Heller (Can You Ever Forgive Me?, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood), the plot centres on a former artist (Adams) who pauses her career to become a stay-at-home mother. However, her nightly routine soon takes a surreal turn when her maternal instincts begin to manifest in canine form.

Adams is joined in the film by Scoot McNairy (Killing Them Softly, Narcos: Mexico), Zoë Chao (Where’d You Go, Bernadette?, The Afterparty), Mary Holland (Happiest Season, Senior Year), Archana Rajan (The Goldbergs, Grey’s Anatomy), and Jessica Harper (Suspiria, Minority Report).
