After risking their lives (and suffering a few scars along the way) with their highly-entertaining television series and films, the Jackass team are making a comeback to the big-screen in 2014. But for now, leading cast member Johnny Knoxville is giving us his own Jackass-style outing….
One of the more recognisable sketches of the dangerous stunt series saw Knoxville dress up as as an elderly yet mischievous man named Irving Zisman. Over ten years since making his debut in the first Jackass film, Irving is being given his own big-screen outing in the spin-off Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa.
The hysterical-looking comedy (which was kept quiet by the Jackass team) has premiered its official trailer.
The film’s ludicrous plot sees Irving and his eight-year old grandson Billy embark on a hidden camera road trip across America which results in the pair getting into trouble with a lot of people.
Jackass director Jeff Tremaine directs the film as he previously did with the series and the classic trilogy.
The film will be out in cinemas on October 25th.
In the meantime, the rest of the group are reuniting for Jackass Number Four (despite the absence of the late Ryan Dunn) with a release date scheduled for next year.
