A thrilling new trailer has arrived for Supergirl.
The upcoming superhero adventure marks a long-awaited comeback to the big-screen for the eponymous DC Comics character after a brief appearance in last year’s blockbuster hit Superman.
Directed by Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya, Cruella), the story follows Kara Zor-El / Supergirl as she reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion for an interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.
After making a cameo in Superman, Milly Alcock takes centre stage as our young heroine and is joined in the cast by Matthias Schoenaerts (Bullhead, The Old Guard) as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley (3 Body Problem, The Witcher) as Ruthye Marye Knoll, David Krumholtz (The Deuce, Oppenheimer) as Zor-El, and Emily Beecham (Daphne, The Pursuit of Love) as Alura In-Ze.
Additionally, David Corenswet is set to appear as the iconic Clark Kent / Superman, while Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Dune trilogy) tackles the role of bounty hunter Lobo despite his portrayal of Arthur Curry / Aquaman in previous films of the DC Extended Universe.
In the meantime, Supergirl will fly its way into UK cinemas on 26 June.
