An official trailer has landed for Marvel’s Wonder Man.
The upcoming comic-book miniseries introduces fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to another new hero looking to become a significant part of the iconic franchise.
Co-created by Destin Daniel Cretton (Just Mercy, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and Andrew Guest (Community, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), the plot follows aspiring actor and stunt performer Simon Williams as he auditions for the lead role in the remake of an in-universe Wonder Man film.
Emmy winner Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman, Watchmen) steps into the shoes of Simon while Oscar winner Sir Ben Kingsley reprises his role as failed ‘Liverpudlian’ actor Trevor Slattery after his previous MCU appearances in Iron Man 3 (2013) and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021).
Additionally, the rest of the cast includes X Mayo (American Auto, Freakier Friday), Zlatko Burić (Triangle of Sadness, Wolfs), Olivia Thirlby (Juno, Dredd), Byron Bowers (Honey Boy, Lady in the Lake) and Arian Moayed, who makes his third MCU appearance as Agent P. Cleary.
Set as an eight-part series, Wonder Man will be available to stream on Disney+ from 27 January 2026.
