An official trailer has arrived for One Battle After Another.

The upcoming black comedy is the latest film to be conceived by visionary writer and director Paul Thomas Anderson (Boogie Nights, Licorice Pizza) with Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio (The Revenant, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood) taking the lead once again.

The plot centres on a civil rights activist who sets out on an important mission to save his daughter after she is kidnapped by an old nemesis with links to a white supremacist organisation.

Oscar-winning duo Sean Penn (Mystic River, Milk) and Benicio del Toro (Traffic, Sicario) join DiCaprio in the upcoming caper alongside Regina Hall (Black Monday, Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul), Teyana Taylor (A Thousand and One, The Book of Clarence) and Chase Infiniti (Presumed Innocent).

One Battle After Another will be released in UK cinemas on 26 September.
