An official trailer has arrived for Loki.
As the third MCU television series to land on Disney+ this year, the upcoming spinoff gives fans of the comic-book franchise the opportunity to follow the Asgardian God of Mischief in his own small-screen spinoff.
Created by Michael Waldron (Rick and Morty), the plot sees an alternate version of Loki brought to the mysterious Time Variance Authority (TVA) after stealing the Tesseract during the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019).
As a result, the cunning trickster is forced to help the organisation catch a dangerous variant version of himself.
Once again, Tom Hiddleston reprises his iconic role as Loki and is joined by a number of Marvel newcomers including Owen Wilson (Zoolander, Midnight in Paris), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Black Mirror: San Junipero, The Morning Show), Wunmi Mosaku (Damilola, Our Loved Boy, His House), Eugene Cordero (House of Lies, Other Space), Tara Strong (The Powerpuff Girls, Batman: The Killing Joke), Sophia Di Martino (Flowers, Yesterday), Sasha Lane (American Honey, Utopia), Jack Veal (The End of the F***ing World, The Favourite), DeObia Oparei (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Game of Thrones), and Richard E. Grant (Withnail & I, Can You Ever Forgive Me?).
Loki will premiere the first of its six episodes on Disney+ from 9 June.
