A lengthy trailer has premiered for Venom: The Last Dance.

The third installment of the comic-book franchise sees Tom Hardy reprise his iconic role as Eddie Brock and his mutant alter-ego Venom for a final time.

Directed by series scriptwriter Kelly Marcel, the plot sees Eddie and Venom being hunted by both their worlds and forced into a devastating decision that could spell the end of their partnership.

Hardy is joined in the threequel by Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave, Doctor Strange), Juno Temple (Ted Lasso, Fargo), Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill, House of the Dragon) and Alanna Ubach (Euphoria, Ted).

From the previous Venom films, there are returns for Peggy Lu as shopkeeper Mrs Chen and Stephen Graham as Detective Mulligan.

Venom: The Last Dance will be released in UK cinemas on 25 October.
