A red-band trailer has premiered for Anora.

The upcoming romantic dramedy is already garnering strong awards buzz after winning the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

Written and directed by Sean Baker (The Florida Project, Red Rocket), the plot follows a young New York stripper who finds herself embarking on a beleaguered romance with the son of a Russian oligarch that brings chaotic results.

Rising starlet Mikey Madison (Better Things, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood) leads the film’s cast as our young heroine and is joined by Mark Eydelshteyn (The Land of Sasha), Yura Borisov (The Bull, Compartment No. 6), Vache Tovmasyan (Stone Cage, Golden School), and Aleksei Serebryakov (Leviathan, McMafia).

Touted as one of the biggest Oscar contenders of this upcoming awards season, Anora will arrive in UK cinemas on 1 November.
